Scott and I have been married for 24 years, and for the past 15 we’ve worked side by side in end-of-life care.

During that time, we’ve cared for thousands of families while building, leading, and advancing pet hospice and euthanasia services nationwide. Along the way, we learned a lot about what matters most to families, and those lessons now shape every part of what we do.

With Halo, we’ve kept the practice intentionally small so we can stay close to every part of the experience. Temecula is home, and it feels right for Halo to be rooted here, too.

My roots in end-of-life care began in human hospice, where I spent 10 years as a registered nurse caring for patients and families before bringing that experience with me into veterinary medicine.

Built and scaled veterinary hospice and palliative care programs nationwide
Developed a 100-hour hospice and palliative care certification program for veterinarians
Authored 14 veterinary textbook chapters and helped develop 3 recognized veterinary industry guidelines
Lectured internationally on hospice, pain management, and end-of-life care

WHEN WE'RE NOT WORKING

We’re pretty happy right here.

Scott is usually on a bike. He races both road and track and has picked up state and national championships along the way. When he isn’t riding, he’s happiest over a good meal and a bottle of wine, two things Temecula makes particularly easy.

I’m more likely to be in the garden, checking on the beehives, planting something for the pollinators, or starting another project somewhere around our property.
